Terms & Conditions
CIAATT (Captain Inspection Audit Assessment Testing Team)
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all services provided by CIAATT (“the Company”) to its clients (“the Client”).
1. Scope of Services
CIAATT provides third-party inspection, audit, assessment, and testing services. All services shall be conducted based on mutually agreed standards, specifications, samples, and written instructions provided by the Client.
2. Service Requests & Confirmation
All service requests must be confirmed in writing via email, work order, or formal agreement.
Execution of services will begin only after:
Confirmation of scope and requirements
Agreement on pricing and timelines
Receipt of any required advance payment
Any changes requested after confirmation may result in additional charges and revised schedules.
3. Fees & Payment Terms
All service fees shall be quoted in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) or any mutually agreed currency.
Payment terms (advance, partial, or full) must be fulfilled as agreed.
The Company reserves the right to suspend or withhold services or reports in case of delayed or non-payment.
4. Scheduling & Timelines
Service timelines are estimates and depend on:
Client responsiveness
Site readiness
Availability of required documents and access
CIAATT shall not be held responsible for delays caused by force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, political instability, labor issues, or transportation disruptions.
5. Inspection & Reporting
All inspections and audits are conducted based on agreed standards and available conditions at the time of service.
Reports issued by CIAATT reflect findings observed during the inspection period only and should not be considered as a guarantee of overall or future product performance.
6. Client Responsibilities
The Client must ensure:
Accurate and complete information is provided
Access to facilities, products, and relevant documents
Safe working conditions for inspectors
Any impact on service quality due to incomplete or incorrect information shall not be the responsibility of the Company.
7. Claims & Complaints
Any service-related claim must be submitted in writing within 7 (seven) working days from the date of report delivery.
CIAATT will review and respond appropriately; however, no claims will be accepted beyond this period.
8. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to maintain strict confidentiality of all business, technical, and commercial information exchanged during the course of engagement, unless disclosure is required by law.
9. Limitation of Liability
CIAATT shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from its services.
The Company’s total liability, if any, shall be limited to the amount paid by the Client for the specific service in question.
10. Independence & Integrity
CIAATT operates as an independent third-party service provider and maintains neutrality and professionalism in all inspections and audits.
11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Bangladesh.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangladesh.
12. Amendments
CIAATT reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated Terms shall become effective upon publication or formal communication to the Client.
